Description
About Vidalista Black 80 mg
Vidalista Black 80 mg is a tablet that contains tadalafil, a medicine used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in adult men. Tadalafil is the active ingredient in Cialis and belongs to the PDE-5 inhibitor group of medicines. The “Black” refers to the product’s name and packaging.
ED affects a large number of men worldwide. It can lower confidence and bring frustration or low mood, and it can strain relationships. It does not mean the end of a sex life. In most cases it can be managed, although it is not something a single tablet cures.
Tadalafil is known for its long action. A dose can stay active in the body for up to 36 hours, which gives men and their partners a wider window than other ED tablets. It still only helps when a man is sexually aroused.
Important: this product is sold as an 80 mg tablet, but the highest dose in approved tadalafil labeling is 20 mg. The page explains what that means in the dosage section. Tadalafil is a prescription medicine in most countries, so a doctor should decide whether and how you use it.
Other Vidalista strengths include Vidalista 2.5mg, Vidalista 5mg, Vidalista 10 mg, Vidalista 20mg and the chewable Vidalista CT 20mg. See more in our tadalafil range.
Uses of Vidalista Black 80 mg
Vidalista Black 80 mg is a tadalafil tablet. Tadalafil is a PDE5 inhibitor that doctors prescribe for erectile dysfunction (ED) in men aged 18 and over. By widening the blood vessels in the penis, it lets blood flow in more easily once a man is aroused, so an erection can start and last.
Main uses of Vidalista Black 80 mg
- Erectile dysfunction treatment: Used when a man cannot reliably get an erection firm enough for intercourse.
- Better response to arousal: Helps the penis respond to sexual stimulation with improved blood flow.
- Keeping an erection: Helps an erection last long enough to complete sexual activity.
- Relief from performance worry: More dependable erections may ease the anxiety that often makes ED worse.
- An extended window: A dose of tadalafil can remain active for up to 36 hours, although that does not mean a continuous erection.
How Vidalista Black 80 mg works
Blood flow and the PDE-5 enzyme
An erection is a blood-flow response. When a man is aroused, nerves in the penis release nitric oxide. This raises a messenger chemical called cyclic GMP, which relaxes the muscle in the walls of the penile arteries. The arteries widen, blood flows in, and the penis becomes firm.
The enzyme PDE-5 breaks cyclic GMP down. Tadalafil blocks that enzyme, so cyclic GMP lasts longer, the arteries stay relaxed and blood flow stays higher. The result is that an erection is easier to get and to keep, but only with sexual stimulation.
Why the effect is long
The body clears tadalafil slowly, so the medicine stays active far longer than sildenafil or vardenafil, which act for roughly 4 to 5 hours. This long action also means side effects and interactions can last longer. It does not make a higher dose work better. In approved labeling, doses above 20 mg are not used because they add side effects without a proven extra benefit.
Dosage and administration of Vidalista Black 80 mg
Vidalista Black 80 mg is a tadalafil tablet for erectile dysfunction in adult men. Your dose should be set by a doctor, who will consider your health, your other medicines and how well treatment works.
- Labeled dose: In approved tadalafil labeling, as-needed treatment for ED begins at 10 mg and may be raised to a maximum of 20 mg. This tadalafil product information sheet sets out those doses. This tablet is 80 mg, four times the maximum, and its safety has not been established, so check your pack and speak to your doctor or pharmacist first.
- Swallowing the tablet: Take it whole with a glass of water. It can be taken on an empty stomach or after food.
- When to take it: Allow at least 30 minutes before you expect sexual activity.
- How often: No more than one tablet in 24 hours. It is not for daily use at this strength, because the labeled daily dose is only 2.5 mg or 5 mg.
- Arousal needed: The tablet helps only if you are sexually stimulated. It will not cause an erection on its own.
- Changing the dose: Only a doctor should raise or lower the dose, based on how well it works, any side effects and your medical history.
Drug interactions
Tadalafil can interact with other medicines, and the long action means interactions can last longer than with other ED tablets. Tell your doctor and pharmacist about everything you take.
- Nitrates (such as nitroglycerin and isosorbide) and recreational “poppers”: never combine. They can cause a dangerous fall in blood pressure, and the risk can last more than a day.
- Riociguat: never combine.
- Alpha-blockers such as tamsulosin and doxazosin: can lower blood pressure further. A doctor must supervise.
- Clarithromycin and erythromycin: can raise tadalafil levels.
- Ritonavir, saquinavir and other HIV protease inhibitors: raise tadalafil levels strongly. Much lower doses are needed.
- Ketoconazole and itraconazole: raise tadalafil levels strongly.
- Rifampicin and other enzyme inducers: can reduce the effect of tadalafil.
- Boceprevir and telaprevir: raise tadalafil levels.
- Other PDE-5 inhibitors: never combine.
Side effects
Side effects are more likely and can be stronger at higher doses. Most are mild to moderate and pass within a day or two, but because tadalafil lasts long, they can persist.

Frequently asked questions
Is 80 mg a safe dose?
Approved labeling limits tadalafil for ED to 20 mg once per day, and the safety of an 80 mg tablet has not been established. Only a doctor who knows your health can decide whether it is suitable.
Is Vidalista Black more effective than sildenafil or vardenafil?
No. No PDE-5 inhibitor has been shown to be better for every man, and a higher dose does not work better. Tadalafil differs mainly in how long it lasts.
Does it treat premature ejaculation?
No. It treats erectile dysfunction only.
Can I take it every day?
No. This strength is not for daily use. Take no more than one tablet in 24 hours, and only as your doctor directs.
How long does it take to work?
Usually about 30 minutes or more, with sexual stimulation.
Does it really last 36 hours?
A dose can stay active for up to 36 hours, but you still need to be aroused. It does not give a constant erection.
Can I drink alcohol with it?
Small amounts are usually fine. Heavy drinking raises the risk of dizziness and low blood pressure.
Do I need a prescription?
In most countries tadalafil is a prescription medicine, so use it only as directed by a doctor and check your local rules.
